Durable Powers of Attorney

Durable Powers of Attorney allow you to name a specific individual or an institution acting on your own prior instructions, to manage your financial and medical decision-making affairs if you are unable to do so.  This avoids the need for a court appointee.

A Durable Power of Attorney is a powerful instrument when used for good.  It can be a dangerous device when used for mischief.   The experienced estate planning lawyers of our firm will guide our clients when it comes to selecting the appropriate individual or institution to manage your affairs in the event of your disability or incapacity.

We counsel our clients to have a full General Durable Power of Attorney and a Health Care Power of Attorney which includes an Advanced Health Care Declaration.  This declaration will be effective in the event that an individual is diagnosed with a terminal illness and does not wish to be subjected to invasive or unnecessary medical procedures.

We are a general practice law firm with excellent attorneys available to help you with your legal needs. We explain things in plain English.  We  relate to every client on a close individual level so that we craft an estate plan to suit your individual needs and desires, whether limited to a simple and inexpensive will or extending to the most sophisicated estate planning.  Whatever your needs may be, we can meet them competently and economically.

We provide comprehensive legal assistance to clients throughout Delaware County, Chester County, Montgomery County, Bucks County and  Philadelphia County.

Call us for any legal need.  We are here to help.
